The Singapore Women's Softball Team is gearing up for an exciting 2023. May: Womens' Softball Asia Cup June: U15 Softball Asia Cup Sep: Hangzhou Asian Games Dec: U18 Softball Asia Cup (Tentative) All these are in the pipeline as our aim is to work towards developing a team for SEA Games in 2025. We hope to develop the age group players over the years and push them forward to the open team. SBSA will be conducting a round of trials for the Provisional Training Squad for the National Women's Team. The women's team currently trains 4 times a week, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays*. Different age groups will look at different training frequencies. Trainings might also go up to 6 times a week in preparation for tournaments *Subjected to changes Details of the trials are as follows Dates: U15 - 20 Dec 2022, 8 Jan 2023 U18 - 8 Jan 2023, 15 Jan 2023 Open - 15 Jan 2023 Venue: Farrer Park Softball Field Attire: School/ Club jersey (with numbers) preferred; Slacks or shorts with sliders/tights; Long socks Equipment: All personal softball gear and sufficient hydration (more than 1L) Requirements: Participants must be Singapore Citizens. U15: Born in 2008 and after U18: Born in 2005 and after Only shortlisted players will be invited to join the training squad for 2023-2024 All interested and eligible participants are to register online prior to the trials.
