U12 Mixed Softball World Cup Flag and Jersey Presentation

Athletes from the SBSA's U12 Mixed Softball Team 2022 and their family members were present at a Flag Presentation ceremony last Saturday (3 Dec 22) as the players received their jerseys and caps from SBSA President Ms Foo Pei. The team is participating in the WBSC U12 Mixed Softball Championships to be held in Chinese Taipei from 7 to 11 Dec 22. This is the first time Singapore has sent a junior team to take part in this championship.

A total of 16 athletes from various primary schools which offer softball as a CCA in Singapore are representing the country at this tournament. They will be cheered on by SBSA Vice President Ms Jenny Lim and coached by SBSA Women's Head Coach Ms Elaine Chua and her assistant and team administrators. The team left on Monday morning (5 Dec 22) with a large contingent of well-wishers and supporters sending them off at the airport, and will play their first two games today with some parents and family members in Chinese Taipei to cheer them on.
